Considering African-American Leaders in AP African American Studies

In this lesson, students review for the upcoming AP African American Studies exam by considering how much African-American leaders worked within or outside of systems of power and how effective they were in meeting their goals. Students work with a partner and then transition to a whole class discussion where they learn from each other’s thinking.
