Revising Our Writing

This video shows a writing-focused lesson from a unit on the text Refugee by Alan Gratz. Students engage in a fluency routine and then review vocabulary words. They then build background knowledge on the clave in Cuban music before engaging in revision and peer feedback to improve their writing.
