SESSION 5: Elements of Effective Instruction: Close Examination of an Effective Lesson

In Session 2, new Brooke teachers read about what an effective Brooke math lesson looks like, now they see their first effective Brooke lesson in action. During this session, participants watch a large portion of an 8th grade math lesson on recursive and explicit functions, stopping at intervals to discuss how this lesson illustrates the Elements of Effective Instruction.
