In this last video study, teacher prepare to teach as if this were their class. First, they read the unit plan and lesson plan so that they can contextualize the lesson and understand the purpose of this lesson. Then, they look at the student work and develop their own discussion plan based on their examination of student problem solving tasks. After this, they analyze the plan the teacher created for her discussion and compare their discussion path with the teacher’s. After that, they watch the lesson video.
