SESSION 6: Elements of Effective Instruction: Using a Lesson Video to Highlight Preparing for an Effective Lesson

This is the second video study in the collection. First, new teachers look at a lesson plan within a given unit plan and prepare as if they were gearing up to teach this lesson themselves. Then, they examine student work and discuss how to structure the debate. After this preparation, they watch a Brooke teacher in action teaching this lesson.
