Great teachers are made, not born.
Every summer, Brooke welcomes new teachers into the Brooke network through an intensive two-week New Teacher Orientation, where new teachers learn about the Brooke Organizational Values, effective classroom leadership, and effective content instruction. In the summer of 2017, we decided to share our middle school new math teacher training in two ways: 1) by inviting twenty visitors from other schools and networks to attend, in addition to our twelve new Brooke math teachers and 2) by filming our sessions so that we could share the sessions openly online.
